Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to join our Kutztown warehouse team. The role focuses on safe operation of material handling equipment, accurate inventory handling, and timely order preparation.

You will perform pre-operation inspections, load and unload shipments, and support inventory accuracy with RF scanning and routine documentation. This on-site position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer-service awareness.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer service and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Performs pre-operation inspections and documents required forms.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment according to customer and operational requirements.
• Verifies quantity and product type loaded and shipped; performs order picking accurately.
