Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator I to efficiently move, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate handling, and participation in order fulfillment and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities include pre-op inspections, loading/unloading shipments, inventory documentation, and use of RF scanners. A High School diploma and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-operation inspection forms.
• Stack and store merchandise using forklift or related tools.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Perform order picking and prepare products for shipment.
• Verify correct quantity and product type for loading/shipping.
• Support inventory accuracy through documentation and cycle counts.
• Use RF scanners to manage inventory.
