Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MO is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move goods through our distribution process safely and efficiently. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load/unload items, and help maintain accurate inventory in a multi-temperature warehouse.

You will follow GMP and safety standards, perform quality checks, and participate in housekeeping. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–90 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Locate slots on storage racks and place pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Replenish pick slots with outbound stock per work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspect pallets and move them with pallet jack or forklift.
• Follow safety policies and complete required paperwork and PPE.
