Forward Air Corporation is seeking a Forklift Operator in Olive Branch, MS to safely load and unload freight, stage shipments, and assist in dock operations. The role requires forklift certification, 3+ years of dock/warehouse experience, and adherence to OSHA and safety policies.

The position is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Compensation is $18.50 per hour, with standard warehouse duties and occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions and freight documentation.
• Ability to recognize numbers, labels, barcodes, and freight markings accurately.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential for shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and MHE.
• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between dock doors and designated areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading following safety procedures.
• Label, scan, and track freight for documentation integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe dock environment and follow safety policies.
