Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Winchester, VA to support manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping operations. The role requires safe operation of forklifts, material handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will move bottles, preforms, packaging materials, and production supplies, while ensuring inventory accuracy and proper documentation. The position involves 12-hour rotating shifts and a strong focus on efficiency and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks after training and certification.
• Ability to perform pre-shift inspections and maintain safety standards.
• Ability to read shipping documents and verify product labeling and lot codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supply pallets, packaging materials, and production materials as required.
• Transport finished goods to warehouse storage and staging areas.
• Load and unload trailers following procedures and ensure proper inventory storage.
• Complete shipping documentation and assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report unsafe equipment or conditions.
