Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator to support our shipping and receiving operations. You will safely operate a forklift, wrap materials as needed, and keep warehouses organized.

Responsibilities include documenting inbound and outbound materials, pulling production jobs, and collaborating with the team to balance workload. Overtime may be required on short notice; PCA license must be obtained and maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of forklift experience.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Able to operate in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures and machinery.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain PCA forklift license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and manage inbound forms and inventory tags.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload.
