Dauch in Three Rivers, MI is seeking a Forklift Operator to support production by operating a forklift or tugger (PIV). You will move material around the plant, load and unload, stack and unstack dunnage and four posts, and track inventory as part of daily operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior forklift/tugger experience, and the ability to pass our certification test for PIV. Candidates must be willing to work any shift, including weekends.

• Prior experience operating a forklift or tugger (PIV) required.
• Must be able to pass a certification test to operate a PIV or move to a production operator role.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Successful completion of criminal/education background review, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.
• Weekend availability may be required; adaptable and motivated to manufacturing.
• Be a team player who adapts to change.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or tugger (PIV) to transport material.
• Stack and unstack dunnage and four posts; move material around the plant.
• Load and unload materials to production locations, market or inbound deliveries.
• Track inventory of incoming/outgoing items.
• Label and sort incoming/outbound shipments; load outbound trucks.
• Perform safety checks on PIV before use; navigate tight spaces with pedestrian traffic.
