Dauch Corporation in Michigan is seeking a Forklift Operator to support production by operating a forklift or tugger (PIV) and moving materials around the plant. You will handle stacking, labeling, loading, and unloading duties while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior forklift experience. Successful candidates will perform safety checks, work weekends or overtime as needed, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience driving a forklift/tugger required.
• Safety-focused with ability to manage material flow around machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or tugger (PIV) to transport materials.
• Stack and unstack dunnage and posts; move materials around the plant.
• Load & unload materials to production locations, inbound/outbound deliveries.
• Track inventory of incoming/outgoing items and label/sort shipments.
• Perform safety checks on PIV before use; work in tight spaces with pedestrian traffic.
