Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Material Handler for our press operations in Columbus, IN to support production flow and inventory control.

You will operate a lift truck safely, deliver the correct material to production lines, manage waste, monitor bowl feeders, perform weight verifications, and assist with 5S initiatives to maintain organization and efficiency in the plant. Prior forklift experience is required; large scales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required; large scales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the correct material to each production line.
• Removes excess waste to proper locations.
• Monitors bowl feeder levels, reheats and waste levels.
• Conducts daily sample weight verification.
• Places all material in proper locations.
• Ensures all tubs used are empty to prevent steel issues.
• Helps assist with 5S.
• Changing out of graphite totes as needed.
