Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to safely move materials, support production lines, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires OSHA-compliant forklift operation, ability to use RF scanners, perform pre-shift checks, assist with cycle counts, and work overtime as needed. Training and certification will be provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Supply production lines with materials according to production schedules.
• Stage materials for production, shipping, and storage.
• Verify material quantities, labels, and locations before movement.
• Utilize RF scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse management systems to complete inventory transactions.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report equipment issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
