Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a General Production team member to operate forklifts, run saws, and manage material flow across a multi-plant campus. You will load/unload trucks, monitor inventory, and support production in the North Plant.

This role emphasizes safety, accurate shipment paperwork, and proactive downtime reduction while using the AHMs computer system to check inventories and procedures.

Qualifications

• Operate an industrial fork truck.
• Operate heavy machinery, including a shot blaster, to ensure continuous production.
• Operate saws to feed production.
• Ability to use AHM's computer system to check inventories and find procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventories regarding quantities, weights, and locations.
• Maintain and manage materials on the shop floor.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Support production in the North Plant.
• Create shipment paperwork.
• Ability to scrap non-conforming product per quality direction.
• Aid production to ensure minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial fork truck.
• Operate heavy machinery including a shot blaster to keep materials flowing.
• Feed production by operating saws.
• Check inventories and procedures using the AHМ computer system.
• Maintain accurate inventories of quantities, weights, and locations.
• Manage materials on the shop floor to support production.

• Prepare shipment paperwork and document material flow.
• Scrap non-conforming product as directed by quality.
• Assist production to minimize downtime.
