Job summary

Pratt Industries is hiring a full-time forklift operator in Springfield, OH. You will safely operate and care for forklifts, move stock, and support production with on-time material handling and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work at a fast-pace delivering stock and removing finished goods from machines.
• Complete and document a forklift inspection form at the start of each shift, notify supervisor if repairs are needed.
• Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas.
• Complete all necessary reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate location of stock in storage by utilizing computer-based inventory system.
• Adhere to daily production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintain good housekeeping.
• Additional duties assigned as necessary.
