Pratt Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe and efficient handling, storage, and delivery of materials within the production environment. You will support machine operations, maintain accurate inventory, and uphold safety standards to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: previous experience in the corrugated industry and/or as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain the forklift, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
• Complete daily forklift inspections before shift start and as needed.
• Prepare stock for delivery to machines and optimize workflow.
• Move finished goods and label accurately.
• Maintain stock locations and ensure safety compliance.
• Complete inventory, production, and safety paperwork accurately.
• Maximize equipment utilization per the daily production schedule.
• Assist other forklift operators and back up the Shipping Lead.
• Produce regular production and safety reports.
• Adhere to company policies and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
