Pro Trans International is seeking a Forklift Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within a center, cross dock, trailers, yard, or work site. The role requires reading work orders, inspecting items, and operating forklifts safely.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and familiarity with scanning devices. English reading/writing is required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred in some centers.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish desired in some centers

Responsabilidades

• Read work orders or follow instructions to determine materials to be moved
• Receive items for shipment and inspect for identity, quantity and condition
• Open containers as directed
• Load/unload materials onto pallets and racks by hand or forklift
• Load materials into carrier vehicles and secure loads
• Complete receiving/shipping documents per ProTrans specifications
• Use mobile scanner for receiving/shipping activities
• Identify shipments with proper labeling and handling instructions
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform daily safety and equipment checks
• Operate banding, taping, and sealing equipment
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to safety improvements
• Provide feedback to improve performance of position, team, and company
