Job summary

Pro Trans International is seeking a Forklift Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the facility and surrounding areas. You will operate a forklift, assist with shipping/receiving, and ensure items are properly labeled and secured for transport.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to read and follow work orders.
• Willingness to operate forklift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using forklift or manual handling as required.
• Inspect items for identity, quantity and condition; segregate special handling items.
• Open containers per instructions and prepare items for shipment.
• Arrange materials on pallets, straps, and securing devices to prevent damage.
• Complete receiving/shipping documents accurately using the scan gun.
