ProTrans International Holdings is seeking a Forklift Material Handler in the Duncan, SC area to load, unload and move materials within and around the center, cross docks, trailers and yards. You will follow work orders, inspect items, and prepare shipments using scanning equipment and standard PTI procedures.

The role requires basic math, ability to read and write English, and familiarity with forklift operations.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.
• Basic math and measurement skills relevant to the role.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and follow procedures.

Mansioni

• Read work orders to determine materials to move.
• Receive items for shipment and inspect for identity, quantity and condition.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets and trailers by hand or with equipment.
• Prepare shipping documents and scan items per PTI specifications.
• Perform safety checks and maintain a clean work area.
• Operate banding, taping, and sealing equipment as needed.
