Forklift Material Handler loads, unloads and moves materials within or near center, cross dock, trailers, yard, or work site. Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 pm – 1:30 am.

High School diploma or General Education Development (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds. Ability to perform these operations using U.S. money and weight, volume, and distance units.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Able to use scanning equipment.
Forklift certification.
Ability to read and write English is required. Bilingual English/Spanish is desired.
Regularly uses hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach. Frequently stands, walks, stoops, kneels, or crouches. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and talking. Must use both feet and legs when operating a forklift and both hands and arms. Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Requires close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. Must hear and discern forklift, personnel, and environmental noises at all times.
Regular exposure to extreme outside weather conditions. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. Noise level usually moderate.
