Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Pooler, GA to safely load, unload, stage, and move freight within a multimodal terminal or warehouse. You will use handheld scanners, assist drivers, and help maintain documentation accuracy.

The role requires a valid forklift certification, 3+ years of dock/warehouse experience, and good English communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid forklift certification/licensure required.
• 3+ years of dock or warehouse experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between dock doors, trailers, and designated areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading activities following safety procedures.
• Label, scan, and track freight using handheld devices and systems for accuracy.
