Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Forklift Operators for a leading beverage packaging company in Cold Spring, MN. This full-time, direct-hire role offers 12-hour day/night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with a $19.00–$21.50 per hour base pay plus a $2.00 night differential.

• 1 year of experience in a high-speed production environment within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Model loads and paperwork handling best practices.

• Ensure correct packaging for the day and accurate finished product counts.
• Verify product labeling with date code, pallet number, state, and hold status.
• Submit daily counts to the office at shift end.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and comply with quality and food safety.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate the equipment as stated by the company's GMPs and Safety protocols
• Assist in the setup and control of the FEFO/FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials
• Model loads and paperwork handling best practices
• Train/mentor new hires as assigned by the Supervisors
• Make sure production has the correct packaging for the day
• Keep an accurate count of the finished product
• Verify product is properly labeled with date code, pallet number, state, on hold, etc.
• Submit daily counts to the office at the end of each shift
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety

What You Need to Bring:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a high-speed production environment in the past 3 years
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Willingness to work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and use of production chemicals
• Willingness to work in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors
• May be required to work and direct in confined spaces and work with high pressure steam
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitors
