Job summary

Johnson Controls in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for 1st shift (5:00 am – 1:30 pm, Mon–Fri). You will load/unload, move materials, and support manufacturing operations to keep shipments on schedule.

You must be able to read and write, use Outlook/Excel/Word, comply with safety protocols, harness PPE, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with vendors and teams on site.

Qualifications

• Loading and unloading experience required.
• FLT certifications and crane certifications required.
• Must read and write.
• Outlook, Excel, Word, and web browser skills required.
• Analytical problem solver with good communication skills.
• Experience with safe practices and processes.
• Must have a valid US Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift and other industrial equipment.
• Load and unload trucks; ensure loads are centered and secure.
• Move materials between buildings to support manufacturing.
• Track progress and maintain timely load-outs; communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; follow safety PPE protocols.
• Coordinate with production and other teams; follow company schedules.
