Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 1st shift in our Operations department. The role is full-time and reports to the Distribution Manager. The operator will load and unload goods, move inventory, and maintain accurate counts on a non-climate controlled floor in Avondale, AZ.

OT may be required on occasion. We require a valid forklift license, experience with RF handheld scanners, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required.
• Experience with handheld RF scanning devices.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product using power equipment.
• Move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and follow SOPs.
• Comply with dock safety policies and lift inspections.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor/maintenance.
