Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for a 1st shift role involving local delivery and core loading to vendors and managers in a manufacturing setting. You will operate a sit-down forklift and other industrial equipment, load/unload trucks, and verify loads for safety and timely ship-outs.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies, and coordination with production teams to maintain efficient daily schedules while using PPE and completing required documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid US Driver License required.
• FLT and crane certifications required.
• High school or equivalent education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift and other industrial machinery.
• Load and unload trucks to and from the facility.
• Ensure loads are centered and properly loaded for shipment.
• Track progress and ship dates to ensure timely load outs.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and PPE usage.
• Report issues to supervisor and assist with daily schedules.
