Job summary

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division, is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver in Gilbert, AZ to ensure timely material delivery to production lines.

Provide safe operation of forklift, move raw materials, update inventory systems, and coordinate with Supervisors to keep production flowing. Must meet safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift equipment and move raw materials to production lines.
• Experience with inventory receiving, processing, and storage procedures.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift equipment following safety standards.
• Moves raw materials to production lines as scheduled.
• Updates inventory management system to reflect real-time status.
• Conducts periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Communicates with Supervisors for clear lines of communication.
• Multi-tasks and prioritizes per daily schedule.
• Ensures parts are accounted for and deliveries are checked off.
• Other duties as assigned.
