XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Maryland to efficiently sort, load, and unload palletized freight on a dock. The role requires using pallet jacks and forklifts, following safety policies, and scanning shipments with handheld devices.

You’ll work on a non climate-controlled dock with potential extended periods of standing, and enjoy benefits such as health insurance, retirement options, and paid time off. This position is on-site at our Maryland facility.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Mansioni

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
