Job summary

XPO Logistics Freight Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Kansas City dock. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight, using a forklift or pallet jack as needed to move palletized and non-palletized cargo.

Typical day includes securing freight in trailers, adhering to safety policies, and scanning shipments with mobile devices. We offer day-one health coverage, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift, using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper methods.
