Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator (Non Formula) in New Jersey. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, store, and replenish goods across multi-temperature areas while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months of warehouse experience, and ability to lift up to 60–90 pounds. Overtime and safety training are part of the job, with a focus on efficient distribution and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Able to work scheduled/overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly (10–35 lbs, up to 60–90 lbs depending on location).
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Locate proper storage slot on racks and set pallets with forklift or hand stack.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front and remove outdated items per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspect pallets for damage and move pallets to storage areas.
• Follow safety policies, GMPs, and company guidelines in all tasks.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
