Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support our Minnesota distribution center. You will operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods, stock slots, and assist in maintaining efficient workflow.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and comfort in a multi-temperature environment. A post-offer drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Enter product data and location into the system; transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotate stock to the front and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots; remove empty pallets and packing materials.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area clean; report unsafe conditions immediately.
