Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, at our Colorado facility. You will move freight with forklifts and pallet jacks, replenish slots, and ensure safety and quality standards across multi-temperature environments.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 90 lb, and completing safety checks. Overtime may be required; on-site work in Commerce City supports our distribution operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–35 lb and up to 60–90 lb depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift or hand stack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to work orders.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to front and remove outdated inventory.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and strapping to proper area.
• Inspect pallets for damage and move using pallet jack or forklift.
• Follow safety policies and ensure work area is safe.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and prep supplies for operations.
• Wear required PPE and meet productivity standards.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
