Job summary

Vistar is hiring a Forklift Operator to support our Bolingbrook, IL facility. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move incoming freight to inventory, replenish pick slots, and ensure accurate data entry. The role requires standing and lifting items up to 90 lbs and working in cooler, freezer, and dry environments.

Day 1 benefits are provided, with potential incentive pay and growth opportunities within a safety‑driven, team‑oriented distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• 3 months of Stand-up Forklift experience.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds repeatedly and up to 60-90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move and store goods.
• Locate proper storage slots and update data into systems.
• Transport freight to freezer and replenish pick slots according to next day’s work orders.
• Maintain safety, GMP compliance and quality standards.
