Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MO is hiring a Loader, Non-Formula to support warehouse operations. You will transport products into trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, and prepare pallets for shipping while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 6+ months of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to heavy loads, and willingness to work overtime in a multi-temperature environment. A High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads with labeling as needed.
• Locates the proper trailer slot and secures the load upon completion.
• Removes empty pallets and packing materials to designated areas.
• Inspects pallets for damage and maintains clean, safe work areas.
