Job summary

ICCS Operations and Black Stripe in Harrisonburg is seeking a Stand Up Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products in a cold storage environment. You will operate Raymond stand up forklifts and dock loaders to move goods efficiently.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to labels and quantities, and teamwork for loading, unloading, and inventory checks in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year forklift experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Familiarity with RFID.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work environment through personal actions.
• Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage; take inventory as needed.
• Direct product to correct area in the warehouse.
• Clear work area of loose wood and plastic; sweep as needed.
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work every other weekend

Day Shift: 5:00am-5:00pm Work every other weekend
Night Shift: 5:00pm-5:00am Work every other weekend

Compensation

$19.15 to $22.90 / hour

Overview

Under general supervision, Stand up Forklift Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, Raymond stand up forklifts, Raymond stand up dock loaders, and various sit down LP trucks. Must be able to work in a 35 degrees Fahrenheit cold storage environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of Forklift experience (specific standup or sit down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
