Job summary

InterChange Group, Inc. is seeking a Lift Truck Operator at Harrisonburg Dry Warehouse to safely receive, store, and ship food products and packaging materials using stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Location: Harrisonburg. This role requires overtime availability and adherence to safety procedures. Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical are required. All applicants must complete an application to be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year sit down forklift experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with RFID
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong teamwork skills
• Self motivator
• Must be able to work overtime days and/or evenings and weekends
• Ability to read numbers and labels
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs frequently

Responsibilities

• Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage
• Take inventory as needed
• Direct product to correct area in warehouse
• Clear work area of loose wood and plastic sweep area as needed
• Report faulty equipment damage to racks and other safety hazards to supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Under general supervision Lift Truck Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt storage and shipment of food products andor packaging materials utilizing equipment including but not limited to Raymond stand up forklifts Raymond stand up dock loaders and various sit down LP trucks Compensation 1915 to 2190 hour Location Harrisonburg CPAD8 Dry Warehouse
