Job summary

Americold in Commerce City, CO is seeking a Forklift Operator under general supervision to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behinds, pallet jacks, and RF equipment. Shift is 5 days on, 2 days off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to operate various forklifts safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and pack orders.
• Assess freight for accuracy, damage, infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely per OSHA.
• Meet production standards and maintain clean work area.
• Assist with inventory and battery changes.
