Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Houma, LA seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move goods safely and efficiently. You will operate forklift, pallet jack, and related equipment to transfer freight from staging to storage locations and replenish pick slots.

Responsibilities include safe operation, data entry, and adherence to GMP and quality standards while supporting the production flow. Requires standing/walking and ability to lift 10–90 lbs; drug test and background check may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, lift repeatedly during shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks and similar equipment.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Ensure safety, GMP, and quality standards are followed.
• Complete paperwork and inspections at shift end.
• Perform general housekeeping and equipment checks.
