Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Equipment Operator for our Frostproof, FL distribution center. The role requires operating powered industrial equipment safely and accurately picking, sorting, and transporting inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with a 6:30a-3p schedule (Mon-Fri). Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and more. Prior warehouse experience and PIT certification training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime as needed based on business demands.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand-up forklifts, reach trucks) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Experience with warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice systems.
• Regular and reliable attendance in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations.
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and labor management systems.
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety while following SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and participate in housekeeping.
• Adhere to safety requirements, including PPE and fall-protection where required.
• Participate in team meetings and report concerns or improvement opportunities to management.
• Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
