Responsibilities

1. Loading, Unloading, and Transferring Materials
   • Operate forklift according to safety standards
   • Move materials within warehouse, production, and packaging areas
   • Load/unload shuttles
   • Pick and stage orders
   • Remove used items like pallets and trash from work areas

Documentation

1. Complete required paperwork such as tally sheets and shuttle transfer forms
   • Scan materials via barcode tags for inventory management
   • Record receipt and loading details on driver paperwork (BOL)
   • Complete Daily Checklist for forklift and equipment maintenance

Additional Responsibilities

1. Assist line operators with removal of plastic and straps from pallets
   • Perform routine maintenance like filling propane tanks and checking valves
   • Maintain cleanliness of work area

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years forklift experience
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork using basic math and writing skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations or willingness to learn
• Ability to operate lift trucks safely and pass training tests
• Good observation skills
