Custom Building Products in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM) with overtime as needed. You will handle shipping/receiving duties and move materials safely in a team environment.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strict adherence to safety rules, and accurate workload handling. A shift premium of $1.00/hr applies, with potential additional $1.00/hr after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift or walkie rider in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and schedules.
• Adherence to safety protocols and clean, orderly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receiving products timely
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift
• Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard
• Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds
