Custom Building Products in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM) with overtime as needed. You will ship/receive products timely and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and other departments.

This role requires operating a forklift or walkie rider, following safety protocols, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A driving test is conducted at the interview.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and walkie riders.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and schedules.
• Commitment to safety and clean, orderly work areas.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receive products timely.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down forklift.
• Ensure that all finished product meets quality standards.
• Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
