Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring for a Forklift Operator in Joliet, IL. The role involves loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products within a warehouse, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will work with the team to meet daily warehouse targets and maintain inventory accuracy. The successful candidate has at least 1 year forklift experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and is able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds; able to perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently according to safety policies.
• Load/unload trailers and railcars; assist with order picking and transport to designated areas.
• Inspect inbound/outbound goods for accuracy and damage; ensure correct quantities.
• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Keep the facility clean, organized and safe.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
