Job summary

Warehouse & Distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator to support store replenishment and receiving operations. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and accurate inventory, with a focus on using RF devices and maintaining equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

• Put away or remove freight from Receiving dock and replenish pick slots and reserve slots to maintain workflow.
• Use RF devices or PDAs to support accurate, timely store service.
• Complete the daily PIT checklist to ensure equipment is working and report defects to management/maintenance.
• Transport labeled freight from the dock to its storage or shipping location and complete the Daily Activity Log.
• Scan pallet licenses correctly and report discrepancies to the proper personnel.

Job description

Our client, Warehouse & Distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Forklift department supporting store replenishment and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to maintain consistent productivity, and the drive to keep inventory accurate—which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

Shift: 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 3 PM-11:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Put away or remove freight from the Receiving dock and replenish Bulk and Repack pick slots and reserve slots to maintain a consistent workflow.
• Use Radio Frequency (RF) devices or Personal Data Assistant (PDA) units as applicable to support accurate, timely store service.
• Complete the daily PIT checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and report any defects to management and/or maintenance.
• Transport labeled freight from the dock to its assigned place for storage or shipment and complete the Daily Activity Log to track individual productivity.
• Scan pallet licenses correctly, place merchandise in the correct slot locations, and report discrepancies (wrong slot, slot overflow, license number not on file, etc.) to the proper personnel.
