You will be largely self-directed and reported to management. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to stand long hours, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
  • Gather, stage, and load products based on sales orders.
  • Load and unload trucks and transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Stack and store materials to maintain inventory control.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

About the Role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and timely staging and loading of products based on sales orders. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining accurate inventory. You'll be largely self-directed and trusted to uphold our company values and procedures, reporting any issues directly to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.

  • Order Fulfillment: Gather, stage, and load products based on sales order requirements, ensuring orders are completed on time.

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and transport goods from one area to another.

  • Inventory Management: Stack and store materials in designated areas to ensure proper organization and inventory control.

  • Safety and Compliance: Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment and strictly adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and PPE requirements.

  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure efficient operations and coordinate tasks.
