Job summary

BWT Logistics is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift in Albany, NY. You will safely move materials, pallets and products, support receiving, storage, order fulfillment and shipping operations to keep the warehouse running efficiently.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, loading/unloading trailers, using RF scanners or WMS, performing pre-shift inspections, and maintaining accurate inventory records while following 5S and OSHA safety

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift operation in warehouse or DC.
• Reach truck or order picker experience preferred.
• RF scanner / WMS familiarity a plus.
• High-bay racking experience (30' + preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and containers efficiently and without damage.
• Transport pallets and materials to designated storage locations per warehouse layout and slotting rules.
• Conduct daily pre-shift OSHA-compliant equipment inspections and report defects to maintenance.
• Scan and verify inventory using RF scanners or WMS terminals to maintain accurate stock records.
• Stage outbound freight per pick lists, BOLs, and shipping schedules.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and travel lanes per 5S housekeeping standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as directed.
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations, PPE requirements, and facility traffic management rules.

About The Role
