Job summary

Aerotek in Billings, MT is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for a contract-to-hire role. The position requires operating a sit-down propane forklift, loading and unloading trucks at the dock and yard, and precise order picking with scanners.

You will allocate products within the warehouse and handle occasional cutting tasks to size with saws, while following safety protocols. Hours are typically 8 am–5 pm, with potential extended shifts up to 6–7 pm and Saturday overtime based on orders.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team, responsible for the operation of a sit-down propane forklift to efficiently move stock for outgoing shipments. This role involves loading and unloading trucks at the loading dock and in the yard, picking orders with scanners, and allocating products within the warehouse.

Work Environment

This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with potential shifts extending to 6 or 7 pm depending on customer orders. Candidates must be flexible to stay until all orders are completed. The work environment is primarily within a warehouse, with occasional outdoor work required for loading and unloading trucks. Overtime opportunities are available after the shift and on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
