Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Chester, NY seeks a Forklift Operator to join a leading distribution and logistics team. You will operate sit-down gas forklifts and clamp trucks to move products from trailers to the warehouse, unload trailers, and stage orders for clients.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive safety mindset. The position is a temp-perm opportunity with a Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:30pm shift and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Operate sit-down gas forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory checks during loading/unloading.
• Rotate and organize products in yard and warehouse.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down gas forklifts (LINDE) and clamp trucks to move products from trailers to warehouse.
• Unload products from trailers and check materials in using an iPad.
• Place products in designated spots and stage orders for clients.
• Rotate products in yard/warehouse and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Perform quality checks on loads and validate accuracy.

Our client, a leading distribution and logistics company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the distribution yard supporting operations that ensure efficient handling and movement of products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Chester, NY

Pay Range: $21.00/hr + Overtime

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm with overtime
