Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client in Chester, NY is hiring a Forklift Operator. You will operate sit-down gas forklifts and clamp trucks to move products from trailers to the warehouse and to stage orders for clients.

You will unload trailers, use an iPad for inventory checks, and keep the yard and warehouse clean and organized. This is a temp-perm role with a Monday–Friday shift and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Operate sit-down gas forklifts and clamp trucks safely.
• Physically active environment and manual handling.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Wear composite steel-toed shoes and PPE as required.
• Accurate inventory checks and quality validation.
• Must meet site requirements and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down gas forklifts (LINDE) and clamp trucks to move products from trailers to warehouse.

• Place products in designated spots and stage orders for clients.
• Rotate products in the yard and warehouse; maintain a clean, organized environment.

Our client, a leading distribution and logistics company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the distribution yard supporting operations that ensure efficient handling and movement of products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm with overtime
