Forklift Operator - Join Our Team in Northlake, IL!

Staffmark is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to become a part of our team at a top flooring distributor in Northlake, IL. If you have at least 1 year of Sit-Down Forklift experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply! Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

1st Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (5 AM - 1 PM), Saturday (5 AM - 8:30 AM)

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Put away inventory and order-picking


• Load and unload trucks


• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy


• Perform manual labor, including picking individual boxes and products


• Shrinkwrapping as needed


• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work areas

Requirements: The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience operating sit-down forklifts, with a preference for those who have worked with Hyster and Crown forklifts. Experience using RF scanners is also required. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, so physical stamina is essential. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should possess a strong work ethic, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
