Job description

Position Overview:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to ensure order fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include loading, unloading, picking, putting away, and consolidating products using a forklift.

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 3pm-1pm).

Pay Rate:

$20.19/hour (including $19.69 base pay plus $0.50 shift differential).

Essential Position Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate stand-up forklift for order fulfillment.
  • Manually case pick for order fulfillment as assigned.
  • Load, unload, pick, put away, and consolidate products.
  • Operate Electronic Pallet Jack (EPJ).
  • Prepare products for shipping.
  • Conduct audits on outbound loads and correct mislabeled items and shortages.
  • Replenish products in appropriate bays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products using forklifts or other power equipment.
  • Follow work instructions and best practices to complete assignments safely and accurately.
  • Support operational processes to ensure customer value and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assist with inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Inspect pallets and cases for proper quantities, damages, and labels.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Participate in training programs and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional responsibilities when case pick work is completed.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Forklift certification.
  • At least six months of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation and ability to meet physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
