Job Title: Forklift Operator

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials to and from the production floor.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport materials according to production schedules.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Stack goods in designated areas following inventory control instructions.
• Check loads for security.
• Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging batteries and lubricating equipment.
• Remove machine attachments and waste materials.
• Examine products for quality standards.
• Dump materials into machine hoppers and waste into compactors.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
