The core responsibilities of this role include moving pallets and products throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trailers, and occasionally case picking.

Position: Forklift Operator

Shift: Monday - Thursday / 6pm-4am

Pay: Base pay $19.25 per hour, including an additional $1.00 for shift differential, totaling $20.25 per hour.

Additional Incentives: Attendance Bonus

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 6 months experience operating sit-down forklifts
• 6 months experience using RF scan guns
• 6 months experience loading and unloading trailers

Role Purpose:

Our Forklift Operators move stock within our warehouse, loading and unloading shipments of various sizes using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. You will be an essential part of daily life at DHL.

Key Accountabilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift)
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
• Maintain inventory records
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy and report variances
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed
• Keep equipment and materials in order
• Assist in physical inventories
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of training within 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months warehouse experience preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience
