Position: 3rd Shift Forklift Operator

Shift: 5:00am - 5:00pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Pay: $19.25 per hour

Additional Incentives: $2.00 Shift differential

Role Purpose

Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock within our warehouse environment, loading and unloading shipments, and using various types of forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. You will be an essential part of everyday life at DHL.

Key Accountabilities

• Loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products using forklifts or other equipment (80% of shift).
• Preparing products for shipment and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintaining inventory records and reports.
• Complying with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verifying load accuracy and reporting variances.
• Changing equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitoring power sources.
• Maintaining equipment and materials in an orderly fashion.
• Assisting in physical inventories.
• Performing daily equipment inspections.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Forklift operator certification or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience required.
